Lane Senior Support Coalition Receives Generous $5,000 Donation from PenFed
Lane Senior Support Coalition was honored to receive a generous $5,000 donation from PenFed during our April 2026 coalition meeting. PenFed administrators and staff attended the meeting to personally present the donation and share why they chose to support the mission of Lane Senior Support Coalition.
PenFed representatives spoke about the importance of supporting organizations that create meaningful, lasting impacts within the community. They shared that their decision to support Lane Senior Support Coalition was inspired not only by a desire to help seniors in Lane County, but also by personal experiences they and their loved ones have faced while navigating the challenges that often come with aging.
Lane Senior Support Coalition’s mission is to find collaborative solutions that help low-income seniors in Lane County maintain their well-being and independence. This work is made possible through strong partnerships and cooperation among local businesses, community members, private organizations, public agencies, and dedicated volunteers who all share a commitment to supporting older adults in our community.
The generosity shown by PenFed reflects the compassion and community spirit that make programs like ours possible. Their donation will directly support seniors in Lane County by helping address emergency needs and providing resources that allow older adults to remain healthy, housed, connected, and independent.
We are deeply grateful to PenFed for their kindness, partnership, and belief in our mission. Support like this not only provides critical assistance to local seniors, but also reminds our community that aging adults are valued, respected, and deserving of care and support.
Thank you, PenFed, for investing in the well-being of Lane County seniors and helping us continue this important work.
