Lane Senior Support Coalition Garden Party – September 21st, 2024
After months of planning, the Lane Senior Support Coalition’s annual Garden Party, now known as the Taste Of the Town, took place at the Campbell Center in Eugene Oregon on the evening of September 21st, 2024. Tickets were sold out! Food preparation chefs and assistants from senior living facilities throughout our community prepared their specialty dishes for event participants to sample. Our event guests voted on several categories of food. The Event Planning Committee of the LSSC Board did an amazing job of coordinating themes and handling ticket sales. In addition to the food contest, there was a silent auction of donated items provided by businesses and individuals from Lane County and beyond.
The event was such a success that the Taste Of the Town theme will be continued next year (and beyond!).
