Daphne Wingham; Daphne has been at The Abbey for 28 years, this month. She enjoys baking, gardening, and working around the house. Her specialty is pastries and desserts; she is known for her brownies and caramel apple cake just to name a couple. S
he enjoys cooking for The Abbey residents because they always send her thank you cards and note about how much they enjoy their meal. She started as a dishwasher and eventually started cooking and has been here ever since. She is a valued part of the team !
We love her home style cooking and positivity around the kitchen.
JOSEPH SHIELD
Joseph has lived and cooked in Eugene for 12 years. He got in the culinary industry through catering, where he learned knife skilled and flavor profiles.
He moved on to leading service staff as a banquet captain, line cooking and prep cooking for a restaurant he ran with his partner at the time, and then to running his own bakery.
He loves baked goods, sweets, and preparing comfort foods that feel like home an nourish the soul.
